Praise for A Lily Among Thorns
"I loved it, even more than I loved In for a Penny[...]most of
all, for a heroine who is independent and prickly and yet wonderful
all at the same time." —Courtney Milan, author of Unveiled
Praise for In for a Penny
"Georgette Heyer watch out! With believable characters and a keen eye for period detail, Rose Lerner serves up a sprightly and splendid take on the classic marriage of convenience plot. Not to be missed by fans of the Regency romance." —Lauren Willig, author of The Secret History of the Pink Carnation.
"[A] charming and original Regency that will make you wish a man like
Nev would stroll through your front door." —Eloisa James for Barnes &
Noble Review.
"The grit of Dickens and the true-to-life, breathing characters of Austen. Rose Lerner is a new star in the Regency firmament." —Judith Laik, author of The Lady is Mine.

September 13, 2012 Dorchester, who published In for a Penny and A Lily Among
Thorns, has sold
its rights to Amazon. As part of the deal, authors who didn't
choose to publish with Amazon could get their rights back. I opted not
to go with Amazon. Now that the deal is final, the Dorchester versions
of my book have been taken down, so the book is no longer available
except in used print copies. However, I should have my rights back
soon! I promise to let you know what the books' futures hold as soon
as I know myself. I also hope that I'll have news for you soon about
my next book, Sweet Disorder, which my agent and I are shopping
to publishers at this very moment.
June 26, 2011 A Lily Among Thorns now available for pre-order from Amazon.
Rose will be running a workshop entitled "Making Your Hero(ine)'s
Job Work for You" at the Emerald City Writers
Conference in October.
